How do I change a bike tire and how do I know what to get?

My bike has a flat, but when I went to Wal-Mart, all they had were these tires in a box; no pre-ready tires. How do I know what to get and then, how would I put it on?

This is the bicycle I have if that helps--->http://www.toysrus.com/sm-ladies-24-lako...

If you just have flat, you don't necessarily need a new tire. There is a tube inside the tire (that's what the valve you put air into is connected to) that holds air. When it gets punctured, you get a flat. To fix this, you remove the tire using tire removal tools, and either patch or replace the tube. Oh, you also look for whatever punctured the tire/tube, and make sure it's not still stuck in the tread of the tire.

If you really want to do this yourself, just do a search on the 'net for "how to change a bike tire" and you will find many informative sites. Otherwise, take the bike to a shop and have them fix it for you, and ask them to show you what to do.
Rather than launch into full details, - it would be best if you take the wheel into a bike shop and ask them to sort it out.

Better still, get someone else to do it!
Since you don't know what a tire and tube is... I highly suggest you take your bike to a bike shop for repair. Or a friend may be able to do this for you.

After reading your question, I don't think there is anyway I (or anyone else) could instruct you on this and you actually be able to do it.
