Do cyclists get in the way on roads, and should they be allowed on busy roads? I have to say i hate cyclists on the road. The queues that can be caused by them before you can overtake when the other side is clear, is unbelievable. I do think the roads should have special lanes which dont affect car drivers. The other day my hubby and i were driving in town and a cyclist was over to the right and blocking the whole road but what can you do??? Cyclists drive me crazy!I hate them, especially on a 60mph back road that's windy, how are we supposed to know if they are round the corner!?? They should be banned! lol...nah jus kiddin but they do annoy me, always think I'm gonna end up hittin them off their bike! Hmm I think most of them are a PITA!! Most of them seem to ride on the pavement/sidewalk these days so more of a pedestrian hazard than a motoring hazard. I Like to see how close I can get to a cyclist when driving down a duel carriage way at 70mph without hitting them. cyclists are fairly easy to overtake and I don't see a problem with them. Many people complain that they don't pay road tax, the fact is most cyclists do pay road tax, they just sometimes take their bikes instead of their cars. Pedestrians and cyclists have the right of way, however annoying. |
