What time of year are the biggest bicycle sales in the UK??? |
When's the best time to buy a new bike in england? I've been lookin at 'evans cycles' who have a sale now offering about 拢300 off of some of the more expensive bikes... is this as good as it gets? Also.... where is the best place to buy them? Towards the end of the year right before next years models are released. I think probably the january sales. Anywhere ! Bristol . right after its been snowing for weeks.... Around the end of the year next year's models turn up, and you'll find the now last year's models in most bike shops at a good discount. As a couple of months pass and the stock gets to the last few models, you'll probably save something like 50%. probably december for christmas last years models are always a good deal, and evans are reputable, any local cycle dealer is best (not maybe cheapest) cos you will want it serviced, spare bits etc and they can be less forthcoming if you buy it cheap elsewhere and drop it in for a service or ask for better quality bits. If you go second hand get some deals, try back of cycling weekly or local paper |
