What is the difference between trek 7100 (or 7000) and trek 3700?

Well to start off the 3700 is $50 more bike. The biggest difference is the style of riding you can expect from the two bikes. The 3700 is a Hybrid bike with front suspension, and wide (26" x 2" ) tires. It lends itself to off road and unpaved trails. The 7100 is a Comfort Road bike with no suspension other than the seat post. It travels on narrower ( 700 X 35 ) tires. This bike is at home on paved bike paths and street use.
