Im looking for a bicycle computer under $40 !!!!!? |
somethin durable and longlasting,,,, also most for the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tanks lots Got mine at Bikebashbar for $26 on sale - wireless too. Preformance cycle and pricepoint are 2 othe on-lines sources I've bought from. Walmart has good prices on them. No kidding. Want something more fancy ? Try www.nashbar.com. That's where I bought mine. http://www.blueskycycling.com/cat-comput... I have the cateye astral 8 on my road bike - it does cadence as well as speed, ave speed, max speed, odometer, and time. It has to be wired to the rear wheel and crank because of the cadence, but is great for using on a trainer since it measures the back and not front wheel spinning. I have the cateye enduro 8 on my mtn bike. It is designed more for offroad use - thicker cable and is designed more for going on a suspension fork I think. For $20, you really don't have to worry a lot about durability. No cadence. Both of these got good reviews on a mtn bike review site, and bluesky offers some of the cheapest deals on them. The cateye velo, mity, all have good reviews. I've seen a $10 one at wally world, but I am certain that one of these is twice as good or more. Check Price Point (www.pricepoint.com), Jenson USA (www.jensonusa.com) or Wheel World (www.wheelworld.com) For that price range, buy a Cateye. They are good...and have all the features. You can easily find one on nashbar.com or performancecycle.com They are cheap enough that a local bike shop's price should be good too! K-Mart has the Schwinn wireless for about $20. It's easy to use and accurate. |
