I would like to buy a push bike to ride but dont know what sort for me? |
i wont to start to keep fit im 17st 5.9 also how much would this cost me thanks Morning, its great your doing something about it!! But! get yourself a decent bike, visit this site, its good. www.supersizedcycles.com and damn bloody good luck to ya Depends on the kind of riding you are planing on doing. Road riding, road bike. Mountain trails, mountain bike. City cycling, a city bike, or a hybrid for road (city) and light trail riding. So, it is a matter of knowing what you want to do and then start from there. Here a two good sites to help you out on your decisions; the kind of riding, and then, the kind of bike you should get. By the way, cycling is a good fitness decision! http://www.timeoutdoors.com/sitetools/ar... http://www.ctc.org.uk/desktopdefault.asp... Can you say that in plain English ? Get down a local bike shop for advice. As has been said - a road bike for road use (100% road use that is), a hybrid for city use and perhaps canal towpaths, and a mountain bike for anything more taxing than that. Personally I choose to ride a mountain bike, even though 80% of my riding is on road (commuting), because I love to hit the woods at the weekend, and a hybrid or road bike wouldn't stand up to that abuse. I just stick on some pseudo-slick tyres, and away I go. |
