SPD Shimano pedals? |
Is there way how to stop floating ? I use Shimano shoes designeted for this SPD ... I know float is an issue coming from no float Look pedals to the new Keo Look pedals with tons of float. You may not want to hear this, but I've gotten used to the float and you may want to invest some time to see if this might be something you want. I use my shoes with lots of float on rides that have a lot of start and stop. I use the ones with minimal float on longer rides with minimum stoppage and rides where I'm working on my time trial skills. Source(s): 25 years experience The spd's naturally float. If you want a system that does not float, change to LOOK or even the other style of Shimano with 0 float. Interesting question. Look style pedals can be used with or without float by using the red or black cleats. Some SPD pedals have a release tension adjustment, but I never hear of a no-float option for SPD. I won't even ask why you would want this! |
