Trials Biking? |
I am looking for a godd trials bike. I am a complete beginner at trials and am on a small budget. Any suggestions? (I do want something that I can put a seat on but it not to get into the way, but it's not neccessary.) alright..1st off the answer above mine is just crazy talk..trek has never made a trials bike now back to your question..to start off with I'd look into Norco or Monty.. Norco make a few frames where you and throw a trials seat on if you wanted to and the price are that bad Monty only makes trials bikes and frames a bit higher in cost but totaly worth it IMO other brands woodman Planet X (for a frame and fork only) Soul Cycles - very good price on the frame and fork OK , look for Cougar , Pinarello , Trek , Sigma ... Those bikes is hard to find second hand , but will be best alternative for you . Call to all cycloshops in your area , they usualy know who want to sell it . What about friends . They can open mouth for you to . Check ads in newspapers , Ebay and so on . You can also lease trial bike from Trek if you afford 70 - 100 bugs per month . What about this alternative ? Wish you luck , you need it ! Holy crap am I confused? Are we talking about Time Trial bikes? No seat? What the heck? techman, thanks for the link to the trials riding. That was incredible. I did some further searching on youtube.com and found some more vids as well. What's up with that back tire? Check www.sevencycles.com I believe they have a TRIALS bike that has the BEST aerodynamic features designed for the serious trials rider. |
