Camelbak opening help? |
i cant open my camelback (i dont no how to) please help The big opening (where you pour in the liquid) is a twist-off ... left to loosen, right to tighten. If there's a vapor lock, the easiest way I've found to break it is to first open the bleed line where you drink from (bite on the valve or twist it open, depending on the valve type). Then, still holding it open, blow into it as if you were blowing up a balloon. Close the valve (twist closed or release the bite), and then try twisting off the big cap. You should have reduced the vacuum pull in the bag significiantly. It may take a couple of 'breaths' to put enough air back in the camelbak, especially if you're slow on the valve reclosure or are weak where twisting the main seal is concerned. Usually they twist right off...leftie loosy. But I haven't seen a new one lately. sometimes they get a vacuum and are hard to open First you unzip/velcro so you can see the bladder and there is a cap on the top of the bladder its big so you can't miss it then just untwist it. |
