Appropriate Top Tube Length for BMX?

I'm 5'7"-5'8" and weigh 150lbs

I know it depends on what you feel comfortable riding on, but can anyone give me a decent estimate?

Heres a accurate sizing chart for BMX top tubes.

5'4-5'10:Get a bike with a 20.5-20.75 top tube
5'10 and above:Look for a bike with a 20.5 and higher.

Heres the link so you can look over it,

Good luck hope I could help. Source(s): I ride, work on bikes,Done my research.
20.5 should be about right, but it sort of depends on how long your torso is and what specific type of riding you are doing. ive found that longer top tubes make for easier manuals and more room to play around up in the air but its also more bike to manuever. shorter makes for tighter turns and eisier throws.
years in bmx (mostly street)
i'm an inch taller and ride a 21.5" or ride a 24" wheeled BMX bike
I suggest getting a 21.5. But you should get whats comfortable for you. I just got a new bike and the retard at the store suggested me a 19.5! What a dumass. So I got my self a 21.5 even though I'm only 5'4" and 90lbs(yes petite i know). I ride awesome with a 21.5 but I'm small. My point is you should go to your bike shop and see if they let you test around. You should be able to feel just by doing some bunny hop 360's and the like. So ride whats comfortable man.
All you bmxrs check out my question. I need help.!!
my brothers about like that and he rides a 20.5 although he prefers a 21.
