Cycling technical? Do you need to lubricate Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels with sealed bearings? If so how often?

I purchased a set of Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels about 5 years ago. Supposedly, they have sealed bearings and I wonder if this means they never need lubrication. The rear wheel seems to roll more slowly now, but I don't want to take the hubs apart if they are not supposed to need lubrication. I probably have about 3K miles on them.

Nice wheels...

No, do NOT lube 'em and don't pull the hub apart. When the bearings can't be adjusted well or they feel rough (back always goes first) replace the bearings. A shop can do this, but so can you.
No, there is no need to lube them but it IS possible to adjust the drag by adjusting the locknuts on the axle. If you've never done this before talk with your mechanic and ask him/her to show you.

I recomended bike shop and really experienced mechanic to do this job for you properly . 5K kilometres is lots of wheel revolution and I do not believe sealed bearings either . Monsture over period of time will find way in and microscopic metal from the bearings in vaseline work like a sandpaste if you like or not ! I do recomend to use quality synthetic bike lube only !
