How do I squeeze my bike tire back on my wheel?

I replaced the tube and now I cant get the tire back on the wheel. It is too tight. What is the correct procedure/correct tools to use when doing this process?

You can use some tire levers - just a few bucks at the local bike shop or walmart/target. Just be careful not to pinch the tube. After you get it on, push it away from the sides and walk ur fingers all the way around the outside looking in to make sure the tube isn't pinched. Also, inflate the tube a slight bit so it'll go in better.
Personally, I dont use tire levers. I put one side of the tire on, then I work around the outside pushing it on until I get to the end. One quick definition - from here on, when I mentioned side, i'll only be referring to various positions on one side of the rim (the side you are trying to get it on)
To start, put the edge/side you started with against your hip/stomach and work the tire onto the rim heading equally around each side until you get toward the end. It may take a few minutes the first time, but by pushing on each of the unfinished sides with your thumbs and pushing the tire a bit away from you, it'll eventually get slipped on. Your thumbs will be a bit sore by this point, but it'll impress your friends.
There should be a little pry tool available at your bike shop for about 2-3 bucks. Also you could put a little 3 in 1 oil on the rim to make the edges slip over easier. You can also use a spoon to pry the lip over, be careful to not pinch the new tube.
The previous answers have given you all the correct information that you really need. As they've emphasised, be careful not to pinch the tube!
The only thought I would like to add is that many bike riders don't like using tyre levers (or spoons). Their approach is to push the tyre over the rim as far as it will go, then when the last bit is remaining, they take a deep breath, grab the tyre with all the determination of a sprinter refusing to admit defeat, and force it over the edge of the rim with brute force.
It usually works!
I can tell you a way without having to buy anything!

1.Take out the tube from the tire.

2.Put the tire halfway on the rim.

3.Put the tube in the tire, with the valve in the rim hole

4.Now start going around the tire put it on the rim, once you get to the point were it does not going go take some wet bar soap and slick that area.

5.Then take it your bed(you dont have to but I highly recommend)and lay it there and push it in,takes a little sweat but works out great for me and saves money too.

Good luck hope I could help.
I ride,work on bikes.
Is EasternBMX telling you to take your wheel to bed?????

I thought I heard everything and I'm proved wrong again. You can do as he says but when you done, take it back out to the garage and use tire levers and (guess what?) BE CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH THE TUBE!

Then you can take your wheel to dinner and a movie if you like...
First put the tube (not pumped up) into the tire, then put the tire on one side of the wheel. Next you should use a tire iron (a piece of plastice about 3-4 in.) to put the tire all the way on the wheel, and pump up the tire and you are done.
