How long would it take to bike 11 miles to work? |
How long would it take to bike 11 miles to work? This question can't be answered. Depends on the route. Is it a straight shot ? Hills ? Traffic ? Stop signs / lights ? What kind of bike ? What kind of rider ? At 11 Mph non-stop and a straight shot, it would take one hour. Do the math. Depends how fast you go if you could average 20 MPH it would take you approximately half an hour This is all guess work, but a bike goes about 10 to 20 mph an hour. I spent a few minutes to look for that information, but so far, I got nothing. This is all personal experience. So, it should take you about 40+ minutes to get there, which is pretty good! that really depends. traffic, lights, weather, your fitness and speed. if i were doing it as a commute, i would allow an hour so i had time in case something goes wrong like a flat or something. the actual ride i would think like 35-40 minutes. Normally, you'll have traffic, stop lights, not want to be sweating heavily either. If you're in good shape 45 min would be about the best you could hope for. More likely closer to an hour with a back pack and traffic etc. I can do 11 miles in about 50 min non stop. And im not that fit . I would say close to an hour cuz of traaffic lights ad evedrything but just in case leave 1hr and 15 min togt to work |
