How much is my Motobacen worth? |
I have an old Motobacen (Grand Record), 10 speed(shift levers are mounted on the down tube. Guess it is a early '70s model. It says BELLERI on the frame just below the handle bar tree. All parts are original. Bike is in good shape. They aren't terrible valuable. There were actually quite a few sold in the US. They are an above average bike for the time, in fact my friend has a '72 I think. he bought it new and still has it. While I could be exact on a figure I saw a few go on Ebay for under $200. If it is ALL good condition original equipment, all labels/decals, and paint without scratches it is worth $220.00 - $380.00. The low if it has Stronglight the high is with Campy. email Sheldon Brown at Harris Cyclery. He's all about old bikes, and there is probably nobody on earth who knows bikes better than he does. |
