Can anyone recommend a good bicycle trainer?

I need one that is quiet, I'll be using it in an aparment. Also durable. Should I go magnetic, liquid, what's the difference? Not looking to spend top dollar, but not looking for the bottom of the barrel either.

I have the cycleops fluid trainer. its the bomb.

but, any fluid trainer may do. they are the best match for a road simulation training ride.
The Century Fluid Plus from Performance is a nice fluid trainer with the ability to adjust the resistance.
Fluid will be quieter and more even than a mag unit.

Good luck!

I have one that works on centrifugal force. With a smooth-tread tire, it's nice and quiet. I've had it for about 5 years now and use it at least a couple hours a day. Up to 6 hours a day on rainy weekends. Check it out at http://www.1upusa.com/
