That didn't look like 50' to me......more like 30. As if that matters! :)

Dude lost his shoes as soon as he hit bottom. Even though he walked away, I'm wondering if he didn't break his tailbone or might suffer some spine problems. He hit HARD. Adrenaline and the will-to-perform can make you do a lot of things in those initial minutes after a crash or injury......he's probably laid up for awhile, though. Ouch.

I just thought to myself how sh!t-scared he had to be when his board popped out from his feet right at the lip of the pipe. He had alllll that time going upwards to realize that he was going to fall a loooooong way down.
The only injuries, besides a bruised ego, was a bruised lung and liver. I was surprised he didn't break any bones, and that the helmet actually protected his head.
