How in the hell do men ride bicycles without getting horribly injured? |
know what I mean? cycling properly with the right clothing and a properly fitting bike keep all that "injury" pretty much non existent ride a bike and you will learn Haha, yeah, I do. I ride a bike everyday. It's something we get accustomed to. Learning to not do things so it doesn't get us injured usually helps. Also, the body adjusts itself after a while. The poster is "not actually a man". I don't think she can ever "learn" even if she rides a bike. LOL That depends whether or not you consider sterility or impotence a serious injury. <lol> Seriously, by putting ones weight on the Sit-Bones not on your bits. The sit bones, are the boney parts that you feel when you sit up straight on a firm surface. They are part of the pelvic girdle and technically known as the Ishial Tuberosity. Also for anything not paved riding Full-Suspension works well too! Even with proper posture, after a couple of days in the saddle on smooth pavement one begins to feel as if you've been seriously injured. Because men and women sit on the same bones, this is a problem for both. (the pain, not sterility) well if you are a skilled biker that has had alot of practice, you would learn how to tuck and roll. it helps to prevent hurting chest and you usually dont land on the bike for good reasons. Some(many) do, others are not as 42nate. I've dumped my bike a couple few times in the just over 30 years I've been riding. The 2 main injuries being a traumatic pneumothorax, and 8 stitches in the side of me hippie head. I dunno if this answers your query, but I would love 2 follow up on this attempt... Timothy :o) If your doing anything that involves jumps, bumbs, and drops. LOWER THE SEAT!!! |
