Interested in Cycling ? for Men?

Well I have wanted for a while to get into cycling. Im looking currently for a used bike, and I had a question about the clothing. I notice the tights in shorts and pants. What do men wear under the tights? to not show? I asking this question for obvious reasons. Thanks for the replys.

Most guys don't wear anything with the shorts or bib-shirts because there really isn't a need to do so with the padding underneath. Most of my riding crew wear nothing else. I've gone with briefs underneath, but it can be constricting. You'll find it better to go commando.

I will add one piece of unsolicited advice.... don't skimp on the shorts... there IS a difference in price. Bike seats are very uncomfortable and the better the shorts, the better you will feel. I prefer Pearl Izumi and Castelli with chamois interior, but whatever you get, make sure they aren't cheap no-name shorts. Also, bib-shorts are a great buy, prevents the shorts from rolling down or shifting too much.
absolutely nothing. underwear have seams, seams that can do very bad things to you. i know they make short liners. they might be okay. never tried them. because of the seam at the end of the pad, it kind of hides me anyway, just kind of becomes part of the bulge. i would hate to get excited in a pair of lycra shorts, but usually i'm too wrapped up in riding for that to happen. in fact, none of my friends wear anything either. it is just part of it.
You go commando under bike shorts. If you wear anything under the shorts you could wind up with some bunching and rubbing in some very sensitive places.

You'll feel awkward at first, but don't worry, you get used to it
Nothing is worn underneath. You can if ya want though! Like the 1st answer they do sell specific underwear for this but you could also try the long tight underwear from any store. If you've seen them they look very much like bike shorts. I've been meaning to check that out myself.
You wear nothing!
Be sure not to put them in the dryer after you wash, hang dry, it will help save the elasticity and the wear on them.
I've seen butt cracks on guys I'd rather not see because their shorts are so worn!
