Help Please Anyone !!!!!!!!!!!!? |
how do you ghetto rig a bike tire that goes flat without buying a new tube? Buy a new bike. They will come with a new set of tires and tubes. This way you won't be buying a new tube, per se. Guy fix it put air in it and hold it in water and find the leak and fix it You could just buy a repair kit -- some glue and a patch. But, a new tube is like three dollars. If you're going to take the tube out and repair it, you might as well replace it. purchase a patch kit for around a dollar or two and patch the tube. No new tube needed. or tif no money for patch kit try some DUCT tape. You can buy an inexpensive tube repair kit at most auto parts stores. or else you can cut off a small piece from another inner tube and make sure both contact areas tube fastened together are buffed and clean thoroughly (with alcohol) and use rubber cement for joining the piece to the tube. myself The easiest, though not cheapest, way to fix it would be with Slime, or some similar product. You can get it at most shops, or Target, Wal-Mart, etc. You don't have to take the tire off or anything, and it will seal most small holes in a tube. It may cost a few bucks, just like a new tube would, but if you're looking for ease, this is the way to do it. If you're looking for cheap, go buy a patch kit. A dollar or two will have you on the road again. |
