Difference between ironman and ironman 70.3?? |
what is it? it is a half Iron man. for promotional reasons they didn't like the term half, so came up with IM 70.3 - the total mileage of the race. the distance are exactly half of a full IM (140.6) 1.2m swim 56m nike 13.1m run distance. 70.3 is half ironman distance. Full is 2.4 mi swim, 112 bike, 26.2 run = 140.6 total miles. ditto |
