Three rights make a left.

Be careful though... three wrongs don't make a right!
Go to the right side, and walk across with the signal, if there is one.
Most countries will allow what is called a hooked turn, if you can't safely make your way to the centre of the road.

This is demonstrated in the diagram on page 2 (bottom left) of this link.

This is for a country that drives on the left side of the road but you get the general idea.
If i was you i would go to the crossing signal and wait there till it says to go.
Three ways to do so:

You have the right to turn from the left turn lane. You may have to plan this waaaaay ahead.

You would make a classic safe lane change. Look ahead, look back, signal wait for clearance, lane change and repeat till you are in the left turn lane. You can see that mirrors will help. And you may be a block or two right smack dab in traffic.

Once you're in the left turn lane stay to the right hand side of it so that when you get the light you do not impede the cars. Make your turn and right back into the bike lane.

Ok, so this is scarry ;-) And if the light is not timed or sensitive to bikes you might be there a while waiting for a signal.

Your 2nd best option IS the three rights make a left.

Last place is get off the bike, become a pedestrian, cross walk, turn and get back into the bike lane.

The reason this is in my last place is you are way more vulnerable at the point you are going from pedestrian to cyclist and back again. Sometimes cars just don't know what to do with ya'

I believe the hook turn described by one of the responses would be illegal in most states in the USA. In the USA cyclists have to obey traffic laws as if they were a motor vehicle. This type of maneuver would not be legal for an automobile, so would not be legal for a car. Also, depending on the traffic, etc, it seems a bit dangerous.

As one responder suggested, if you can plan ahead and move over into the left lane, do so. You are legally allowed to occupy the lane. If, however, you cannot safely move over, I think the first responder had a good idea (despite someone giving him a negative review). I would suggest going through the intersection and turning right at the next through street, going down a block, turn right again, and then make your final right turn, putting you in line for the direction you wanted to go.

Be safe.
