Vintage cruiser bike? |
I'm looking to buy a vintage cruiser bike, ideally something with balloon tires and a headlight, yeah.. That old... Anyway, I was wondering where the best place to look would be? Beyond that, how much, roughly am I looking at spending? I'm not too worried about condition, just something that is rideable. I love those old style bicycles and am currently looking for one myself. However, I will probably be buying a 'new' one. If you're looking for an actual older 'used' bicycle, I would try garage sales, second hand stores and maybe your local classified section. Most of the time when you find a bike through these methods, you won't end up paying too much. Genuine "old" vintage cruisers are getting quite expensive if in good shape. Most manufactures have come out with new models of their cruisers, and unless you can find one in grandpa's garage, it's probably cheaper to buy new.
