How's the bajaj avenger. does it now come with an engine kill switch? |
is it a safer bike as compared to the 100cc bikes if ridden sensibly? I currently have a bajaj boxer (5 years old) but now want to change over to another bike (preferrably a cruiser) but not the enfield bikes. As it is heavier will it be ok for me? I am 5ft 6in and 75 kgs. Please advise. My daily commuting is 32 kms highway Thanks a lot. On a motorcycle, the faster you go the more it stabilizes. Ask yourself your average speed during your commute. If it's not much then go with a bike with a low center of gravity and a low gas tank. A low profile will help stabilize you to make your riding experience easier. If you would like a kill switch on your bike even if one doesn't come with one stock then you could get one installed quite easily. I took a look at the bajaj avenger for you and it's dry weight is 154kgs which looks about right for you and the nice thing about the bike is it's center of gravity is low, which means it should be an easy bike for you to handle. One cylinder means an easier upkeep as well as problems with the bike will be much easier to diagnose. its a good bike but does nt come with the engine kill switch |
