I am a female need ideas on how to paint my motorcycle? |
I have a cruiser style motorcycle and want my bike to stand out as a female's bike (meaning Pink). I've gone to different websites, but all the bikes belong to guys. I need ideas how to paint my bike. I was thinking light silver with pink flames (medium shade of pink )and but the flame design may be too traditional. Any other ideas? Or do you know a link to a site with female bikes? Go to http:// www.hotrodhotlinebikes.com In the readers rides section is a chick bike with a killer pink(ish) paint job. Source(s): http://hotrodhotlinebikes.com i would stick with your traditional thoughts and look into a limeish green accent on the flames. unless you want to go all xtreme, and are a very good artist, you could do the whole vintage noseart/50's pin upgirl but modernise it a little bit. you my not like the 2nd one, it is more guyish but whatever you decide. You want pink? Paint it ALL pink! Not the headlight glass or the licence plate, but EVERYTHING ELSE paint PINK! It will stand out as a girl's bike, believe me. Bubble gum pink in front, ranging into Hot Red-Pink at the rear. Slow transition along the length of it, with perhaps a 'lips' (And teeth? Smile?) motif on the tank. Instead of flames maybe 'flare' or rocket emission-tail motif towards the rear or on the rear fender - looks faster. There are many women's riding clubs and web chat areas where you can get tips from other women riders on what they have done or seen. Here is a link to one on bikersmag, that has links to other womens riding clubs. http://www.bikersmag.com/html/women_mc.h... why not all black with straight pink tank and fenders? good luck and keep on ridin' all light pink with gost bubbles on it and crome pipes |
