Also I sort of want a bike that can ride two people(you know, so i can take the lady friends on a ride). I'm also looking for a bike that looks sort of sporty. I don't like the cruisers or the harley style bikes. Thanks
The smoothness of the clutch is purely in the drivers hands so to speak. If you're looking for a crotch rocket I would start out with a 600 or smaller. They're both lighter and don't have so much power to get you crippled up. Above all you should be able to put both feet flat on the ground without all your weight on the seat. If you think you may want somthing bigger in the future it's a good idea to get a used one and save a little money for now. And don't take anyone else w/ you until you have some experience riding. It takes much more control to ride with a passenger. If you are just learning I would consider the Ninja 650R looks really sporty and handles really good, and please don't have anybody in the back until at least you rode it for 1000 miles. I reccomend the Honda 599. Plenty of power to ride with a passenger. It is built by honda's italian branch so it looks fantastic and has top notch build quality. And as far as the clutch goes you would have to have a total brain fade to stall or bog on this bike.
