What kind of bikes does everyone ride i know most have more than 1? |
sport cruiser and anything in between.i already have a sport bike and a harley but i want a sport tourer like a FJR 1300 I started riding in Japan in '71 with a Kawasaki 250 Samurai. My next one was a Kawasaki KH500 in 78. Traded down for a Suzuki Enduro 125 in 79. Then to a Honda 175 in 80. My wife didn't like riding such a small bike, so while I was in Panama on a job for 2 weeks, she bought me a Kawasaki KZ 1000. My next one was an 85 Suzuki Intruder 700. I put over 90,000 miles on that one in 9 years. Gave it away and the guy really did a good job on it! Next was a 94 Kawasaki 500 Vulcan. I will NEVER again buy a BELT DRIVEN bike. That belt was $450!! I kept it for 10 years with about 80,000 miles on it. Gave it away to a guy who stripped it down to the frame. I've had my 04 Honda Shadow 600 and have really enjoyed this one. My wife says this is the best and most comfortable. I have looked at Harleys, but I can't see paying as much for a bike as for a car. With a 26" inseam, there are only so many models I can choose from. Check out this site. You don't have to be a biker or a vet to ride with us(78,000 members nationwide up from 15 in August of 05). Then do a google search on the WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH in Topeka, KS to find out WHY the Patriot Guard came about. Source(s): www.patriotguard.org My wife and I have a Triumph Bonneville and a Harley 1200 Sportster. Both great motorcycles. 05 xl1200r roadster sportster. very good bike to run the twisties Oh Puhl-eez.......... |
