Yamaha India its such a stupid company?Dont u agree with me? |
Yamaha came to india with there xplosive Rx 100,And Rd 350.But the later bikes where utter failures.First came the YBX the bike had performance but serious quality issues and a high price tag.The Crux came next it didint have performance nor fuel efficiency.Enticer a stupid cruiser having quality issues.Then they commited there biggest blunder Libero a fine looking bike with an awkward head lamp.The bike had the qualities that could take sales frm Hero Honda.Fazer another fine bike with a stupid head lamp.the round head lamp libero seems out of production now replaced by G5 with another stupid head lamp.Gladiator seems to be a good bike but has few takers bcoz people have lost confidence in Yamaha. They are a company that didint keep up with the head start they had.Recently the new Manager of Yamaha seems to tell that it was bcoz of the old tie up with Escorts that they r doing badly. Any school kid would hav told him abt the head lamp issue. I think Yamahas ANYWHERE in the world are garbage compared to Honda! I agree go for bajaj i am a proud owner of RX-100 which i bought 12 years ago as a second hand vehicle. but the after launches in 4 stroke segment are fit for nothing category. First of all I would like to say you that I am not a sales man. This is my personal experience of Yamaha bikes. I already have driven more than 60,000km in bikes. No I don't agree with your opnion. Yamaha came in India with 50% share of Escorts. Then after it launched so many 2 stroke bikes in Indain. They all were successful. After Escorts sold all its share to Yamaha, Yamaha India launched 4 stroke bikes in India. Yamaha's bike are the best. They make the maintainace free bike. Although their fuel efficiency is not nice due to all single valve engine. Few years ago it has the growth rate of 22.8 percent. It always takes time to grow after the break up. You can see the example of Suzuki and TVS. But if you compare the Yamaha Enticer with Bajaj Eliminator, Yamaha has greater sale than Eliminator. It has better fuel efficiency and reliability. It is not only in India but all in some other countries where Bajaj and Yamaha both export their bike. After my visit to Nepal, I came to know that people prefer to buy Yamaha then any other. Although Yamaha is late in India to launch its 150cc and greater range but people are willing to buy Yamaha only. Have you ever seen Yamaha Gladiator 150cc design, I think you will surely love it. Today Yamaha is the best bike in 125cc range. Have a test drive of Yamaha and then any other you will find Yamaha has great pick up, less maintainance and it is always ahead. I drove YBX at a speed of 98kmph. It is a super bike but I can't find the same experience in any other bike of 100cc range. Yamaha YBX engine is such a successful that even the enicer and lebero has the same engine. It is not due to old tie with Escorts that Yamaha has no sale. Escorts produces tractor, heacy machinary,etc. The villagers know about that. So, in the previous time Rajdoot, RX100, RX 7 has great sale. Now, Bajaj has given a proposal to Yamaha for tie up to launch 750cc range in India. It is just due to its Yamaha's merit. If any company model fails in the market, it does not mean that it should shut the company eg. Kinetic, TVS, etc. It should try for its best. So you can't say it is a stupid company. It is even now trying its best to get the best customer satisfaction. Go get a trial of it. Thats all i agree with your observations about Yamaha as a whole is a failure company but still will survive if they reduce the prices |
