I'm interested in the 07 Kawasaki 900 Custom & am seriously thinking of purchasing it soon. The only thing I don't like is the bars(the whole handle bar setup) I like the longer style that you don't have to reach for like the one on the 900 Classic. My questions are, is it easy to replace and install the type that I want? Is it even available anywhere, since this bike is fairly new? If it is, about how much would it run me? And lastly, I know the bars built for the type of bike this is (which is for sporty cruisin) but if I were to replace it with the other version, would it even look right? I know the last question is a matter of subjectivity on personal taste, but I still would like to here some rational opinions out there. It would be even better if somebody actually did the experience (&changed their bars of a sporty cruiser bar to one that's like the "classic". I would love a feedback on people who have knowledge of these questions. Thanx.
one of the things i love about my vulcan is that i can cutomize it all i want. you can put just about any bars you want on there and the only judge as to how it looks should be you. ive seen them with every type of bars from drags to apes. depending on your choice expect about 100-200 usd unless you go with apehangers then you'll have to spend more for new cables and lines. |
