Can you 2-Up on a Harley-Davidson XL 1200N Nightster ???

Please say yes. The seat height is perfect for a shortie like me (5'6") and i love the bike dimensions. And best of all...my wife is backing me up if she can come along...!!!

With a blessing like that all i need is the answer "yes". If not...any suggestions for a comfortable low seat height cruiser or sport tourer comfortable for 2-Up riding will be greatly appreciated. And if ya ever bike up to NYC i'll be your free tour guide..!!

Thanks in advance..!!

Change the saddle, add the pegs and go riding. Below are the stats on three Sportys. First being Nightster, followed by 1200 Low and then and 883 Low. Can can see they are pretty much the same, and the latter are 'two-up' scooter. But remember, there are weight limits of the GVW design.

Watch for operators of cages, they still don't see us. Be safe.

. It's a done deal, but as you know, it will cost you to convert.
I have only seen the nightster with a solo seat. There is certainly enough power there for two people if you can configure the bike for that. You should consult your Harley dealer and see if they can get a Nightster in a 2 up. They are a very cool bike.
The best fix would be to get one for your wife too. It would be a shame to change the nightster into something that it's not. Consider a 1200 low or custom, maybe even a dyna low might do the trick.
You can definately ride two up with no problem.Have fun and ride safe.Stick with the Harley or you'll always regret it. Goood Luck.
No. The Nightster is manufactured as a solo seat bike. It does not have passenger pegs. While I like it, you would do better to get a "hugger" model, built for passengers.

If you are open to other brands, the Yamaha "royal star" line has low seat height cruisers that are 2-up

put on a sundowner seat....problem solved. the nightster is just an extra lowered 1200.
As long as it has a passenger seat and foot pegs you can ride two up on any bike. A back rest will make your passenger feel more secure, too. You'd certainly have plenty of power with the Nightster. One thing to keep in mind is passenger comfort. If your passenger isn't comfy, then they won't be happy. As for your height, I'm 5' 3" and ride a 2005 Fat Boy and can touch flat footed with ease. Same with a Heritage, which I've ridden several times with no problem.
