Hi, all! I'm considering purchasing a XVZ 1300 A Royal Star 1999 Yamaha as a second bike. If I am not mistaking it has the same engine as the XVZ 13 T Royal Star Venture Yamaha. However the model I want to buy (the cruiser) has 75HP while the Venture has 98HP. Does anyone know how exactly I can bring the engine up to 98HP? Thanx!
I have to admit that I do not know exactly how to do what you are asking. I will say that I think that the horse-power ratings may be different because one is crank HP and the other is rear-wheel.
I am a V-max owner, and the Royal Star engine is essentially the V-Max engine, with 100cc more, but sans the enormous intake and carb set up of the V-max - so it makes less HP.
