750 Aero Honda 2005? |
This bike is fast , I take off from red light hit second before end of intersection and I am hiting 50 to 60 mph in seconds ,is this normal ? crotch rockets beat me but cruisers take forever to catch back up , is this the way these bikes run are do I just have a unnormally fast bike ,Peace Those other cruisers must not be trying race you. I assembled at test rode several of these at the dealer I worked at and they are not fast at all. In fact they felt weak to me. They don't rev high enough. Put it up against something like a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 or a Honda Magna both of which are cruisers and you'll see what I'm talking about...Don't get me wrong though they are very popular and very durable... Source(s): Honda/Yamaha dealer http://www.goingfaster.com/angst/main.ht... Your bike is fast compaird to smaller cc bikes and economy cars, but naturally sluggish in speed compaired to a sport bike. As for your getting up to 60 by the next intersection, a sports car with manual shift, will perform the same way if you were to step on the gas and rev it to red-line. Sounds like yer just a little heavy on the throttle. My wife rides an Aero. Good little bike. She can stay with me on my 1300 Retro unless I get throttle happy. Ain't no contest then. |
