What sort of oil do i need for my yamaha xvs650? Also how much oil does it take to fill? |
My bike seems to have a flat spot when trying to accelerate at say 3000 rpms, have cleaned the air cleaner, spark plugs 'look' normal. Have never tinkered with bikes so appreciate some help. Is there a 'repctable' and 'resonably priced' service person/shop/dealer on can trust in the Melbourne's Nth to Nth West suburbs, will travel for quailty service. thank you!! Yamaha XVS 650 cruiser is a great bike!! cheers If you're planning to change your own oil, I would recommend investing in an owner's manual or, better yet but usually much more expensive, a service manual. The manual will tell you exactly how much oil you need and what type to use for your bike. You can do the work yourself and be confident that you're using the correct materials. 3.6 quarts of 10W40 MOTORCYCLE ENGINE OIL |
