Who Thinks The Answers Motorcycle Section Should Be Categorized? |
I think the questions section should be categorized by bike type. I'm a sportbiker and I mostly answer questions about sportbikes. So I'd have to search through every question just to find one of relevance to me. If I could just click on sportbikes I could have a field day. Jim K: It's not really about segregation based on distaste for any type of bike. The point is to be better organized so people can get the answers they need more easily. I answer more than I ask so it would be cool to just see questions I know I can answer. I think sub-categories with in the motorcycle section would be a great idea. damb good idea, Im allways looking through all the stuff I dont care about to find a Harley question I agree, however, the main problem is that we are a sub-category. We're already categorized, as far as they are concerned, at the moment (under Cars & Transportation). Maybe if enough of us voice an opinion on this matter, it'll be changed. I like the idea. :-) good idea,,,i think that there are several more catagories that could be better defined also...didn't know about that link,,I gave em my 2 cents worth though about seperating bikes...thx. again..good luck Yea at least sport bikes and cruisers. I don`t care about sportbikes and I`m sure there are sportbike owners that are not into cruiser bikes. That's a great suggestion. Great idea! My proposed categories below: I think thats a great idea. I'd suggest the subcategories: 1)Manly American Bikes. 2) Cheap Oriental Crap for guys that can't get laid, and 3) German bikes for Uberhomos. I'd think that would capture everything and its pretty right on the money I just think anything that cannot be driven on the road (pocket rockets, scooters, go carts ect ) should have a section. I certaily aguree, I don't know why people post scooter stuff in here, it says MOTORCYCLE, I guess it's the closest thing, but I don't know the first thing about making a vespa faster, or a 125cc cruiser. That is a very good suggestion. I agree. They should have a category for people who don't know what bike to buy. One for people who don't know how to get a license. One for people who don't know how old they have to be to ride a motorcycle. A category for how to make their little scooters fast. And the list goes on and on. It makes me wonder how these people make it through everday life. When it comes to motorcycles, it'd probably just be easier to make categories based on penis size. For example, less than 3", 3-5", 5-7", 7-9", and 9+". At least that way I'd know that all of the Harly discussions will be in the same place (less than 3"). And women shouldn't be discussing motorcycles anyway, so obviously they are excluded since they have no penis. Is there really a problem here? As the saying goes: If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" So is it broken? I don't think so. And if you do categorize it, who decides the categories? The people who looking for an excuse ot to revive the old rice grinder vs Harley tirade? Pleaseeeeee! Don't waste our time! :-| Here's a few good categories; I'm happy with any kind of motorcycle question here. Scooters are fine too. But ATVs and pocket bikes have little in common with motorcycles. I think it should be catagorized as Posers and Riders sounds boring! there are plenty of specific sites on the net for every make of bike already. |
