What can you tell me about the 2001 Suzuki Volusia 800cc??

Im looking for info on this bike - rider tests/impressions, recalls, problems with the bikes, etc.

I recently ran into a heck of a deal - a 2001 with 750 miles for CHEAP. But, I know nothing of these bikes (Im a Kawi man and a sport biker), but my woman would like a cruiser for us to ride on as she hates the seat on my 1000.

for a lot of info, customizing, what people think about them etc. no recalls, or known problems. i have an 04 limited volusia and love it.

Its great for touring with passenger behind you, and more comfortable than sport bike. If you like to have her ride with you, Go for it or she will dump you or refused to ride with you.
I love cruiser bikes that make me feel comfortable with passenger with me. that bike is much lower than sport bike ( seats) and better turnings. ( lower gravity)

Nice bike I had the C50 which is the same bike only newer. No problems a well built bike that has been around for a while now .
