would you like to go wild down the nearest hill on one now? yeah baby, a 5-speed Schwinn with the big stick shifter right there on the top tube, thank goodness I was young and wasn't worried about the jewels. used to shove it into 5 and crank that monster gear around, was able to drop my older brother and his loser friends. I'd like to have it back, I'd fly to Hawaii and do that 38 mile downhill from the volcano on the big island. Nope, Didn't want one either! it would be realy cool but im more of a car person i had one it was great ...i wouldnt trust one know tho with them dodgy handle bars .....did u ever take notice of th warning band on the seat ,telling ppl not to give backies to anyone ,no ....me neither I used to have one if its stable mates, the preposteriously named "Commando". P.S. It had nothing to do with not wearing any under garments. My childhood. Go gonzo downhill on a choper-style? NO. On a low-racer reumbent or my fav road bike? OH YEAH! Choppers are more about cruising around. Not really a good position for downhills and with so little weight on the front end you could end up with road rash pretty easily. |
