Has anybody ever heard of this guy? Here's a chopper he builds for $3,400 with a review of it.? |
The enigine is puny, but no one else sells a real chopper for anywhere near $3,400 dollars. I may have to buy one as my second bike. http://www.johnnypag.com/roadtest.html... 1st, good starter bike and does'nt look bad. Chinese quality= chinese quality, nuff said. 2nd If I'm not mistaken Johnny Pag is one of the Pag brothers, who were very influential way back in the 70's but have not been re-discovered like so many others. All this being said, it's a 250 cc bike and if that's what your looking for...Great! Don't expect any resale return for your money. Good Luck. P.S. Moment of silence for April 24th I have never heard of this guy...but that doesnt necessarily mean anything...you might check with the Better Business Bureau and see if he has been written up for anything...Actually the whole bike looks puny to me really...for 3400.00 i would probably find a used bike ....its always been my experience that you pay for quality The chopper you refer to is an entry level import bike it is small and the motor is small the bike is an import production line chopper NOT a custom chopper. there are a few websites that give the details. do a search on choppers or johnny pag other than the web sight. wish I could tell you more. Looks like a neat little bike, believe the engine is a 250cc should be around 20hp. Would make a nice starter bike or even a city bike. Looks like it is modeled after the 250 Honda rebel {at least engine } This should set the scarf heads on fire! HA HA I love it. looks like the 20,000 catalog bike for $3500! i cant wait, wish i was a dealer! I don't know the company, but the price seems about right for a Chinese 250cc. A Chinese motor won't last as long as a Japanese motor, but the price is right. The little choppers look really cool. I would guess that absolute top speed with a 150 pound rider might be 70 mph. There isn't a direct comparison between this bike and a $20,000 bike. I wouldn't be suspicious of the $3,400 price tag. http://www.bikercell.com |
