Is driving a motorcycle easy to learn?

I'm talking about those fast bikes, not the choppers.

To paraphrase what my best friend told me when I bought my bike (hadn't learned to ride yet), "if I could put you on the bike going 60 down a straight highway in third gear with no traffic, you'd be fine. You don't have to know anything for that." It's countersteering, slow speed balance, and clutch control that take practice. And on the road, remember that drivers tend not to pay attention to bikes (they're much smaller, and most drivers just aren't expecting anything but cars), so stay awake and be aware!! Wear good gear and be attentive, you have to do the driving for them!

But the short answer is yes, it's real easy. Take a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course (MSF) to learn the RIGHT way. Plus, it takes points off your license!
from the people i talked to they said yes.
Not difficult at all. I've found that if you can ride a bike, you can ride a motorcycle. It's just a matter of learning to clutch and shift.
Yeah, it is relativly simple, when you start out, dont drive real fast, just drive normal, then the more experienced you get, the more comfortable you are the faster you can go. But the important thing is don't drive it like a fool, use common sense. There was a guy around here driving one of them going like 80 and hit a grain truck. Well, he ended up in 3 pieces.
Always use common sense when driving a motorcycle, because when you wreck their is nothing to hold you back, hense you keep going and the motorcycle stops
I think you have it in you or you don't have it in you. Some people will never know how to throw a basket ball no matter how many times you show them. Good motorcycle riders usually start early. I would advice to start of with a small cc bike and get the feeling, see how well you can handle it. Don't by yourself a 1200 right away lol
Take a motorcycle safety course. Call a local motorcycle dealer for details. Safety Foundation furnishes the bike to learn on and course takes about three days and costs around $50. It's easy and fun. I was in my 40's when I learned to ride. I'm 56 now and I love it. I wish I had started to ride years ago.
