Hang on, are you talking about Raleigh choppers? It should have the Raleigh badge up front on the head tube. Look for that first. If it's there then you've got a genuine frame to start with. For a parts breakdown, try: http://www.rcoc.co.uk/ . I dont think any of the models that used to be sold locally had the grip shift, but perhaps a 'muscle bike' three speed gear shift. The rear hub was a Strumey Archer.
