Does Anyone Know a bmx bike that rides good and is under $100?? |
PL33Z SUMBODY HELP ME IN BROKE....LOL i would check ebay for something that cheap, but good Well, to tell you the truth, I don't think there are good BMX bikes for under $100, especially if you are a heavy street rider or a fan of parks. If you want one for that cheap it's going to have coaster brakes and bendable parts. If you ever get more money check out Dan's Comp for some great 20-24'' BMX bikes. HAHAHAHA... oh my god i miss the days where i thought 100 dollars could get you anything you wanted. well my friend in your case your not going to be getting a new ride for under 300 without something more than money. my opinion: use what you have to shred with as much brutality as you can. in the proses get to know people and make friends. with some effort and time put in on your crapy bike some one may give you some hand me downs. dont depend on it, but its worth a shot. also with $100 you can get a veriety or parts that you could add to some kings of bikes. insted of buying a new bike simply upgrade. most bmx bikes are not under $100 most above 150 soo u might wana check academy.... go to craigslist.com and try and find a used one in youre area if you already have a bike, you might consider just purchasing a good frame and fork and transfering parts and upgrading as necesary. its still gona be more than 100 bux but its a start. check local bike shops for used stuff and the pawn shop. i know it sux but thems the breakes. word of advice from a crusty old guy, when buying a complete bmx bike your best deal in my opinion is the best frame with the worst components. beat the tar out of it and replace the components as the break with better stuff. that way you are getting the most riding out of the least money. before long you will have built a top of the line bike and spent alot of mone but you will ahve getto financed it for a year or two and learned exactly what you need vs what is cool at the local park. take care. have fun crusty old bmxer |
