How do u change a bmx bike kickback rim 2 a spinback rim please help? If you are refering to a coaster brake, where you pedal back to hit the rear brake, there is no way to convert it to a freewheel, where you can spin the pedals backwards all you want. There are 2 steps you need to make sure of before you do this conversion. 1) Make sure you have a functional hand brake installed on the rear wheel so that you can still stop after you change the wheels. 2) Buy a new 20 inch rear wheel and a new freewheel (both parts together will probably cost you about $40) and have your local bike shop install them and show you how to do it.
