I am going to purchase a bmx freestyle bike and wanted a light and sturdy bike, any suggestions?


I've looked at things like the hoffman Rythem and Ace of spades but found they were to heavy, I'm looking for a pritty light bike that you can do street and skateparks, not much dirt.

i think that haro bikes are the best and lightest.
Why don't you build a bike. The cost would be approx. $1,000 but you could make the bike as light as you want.

When I raced for cycle craft in 1983 my bike weighted under 15 pounds.

Today's frames are a lot lighter than they where back then.

If you don't have that kind of cash then your going to have to sacrifice some weight.
