What mods do you need to make to turn a dk step up into a good freestyle bmx park and street bike? |
Im getting a DK Step Up in 2 days and I was wondering what mods I should make so my bike will be solid and ready to get some sessions in. THNX Well it depends, if I were you and I wanted to get into BMX, I would just buy a new bike. When I started BMX, I wasted like $300 on upgrades. I realized it would have been better just to buy a good bike from one of the local stores here in town. What I would recommend to buy would be a Haro bike of a Hoffman bike. Try to look at their websites.... Source(s): me If you still have time not to buy it, dont buy it! You are going to regret getting that bike if you wanted it to be a good bike you would have to change the chainwheel + freewheel. To tell you the truth I would not recommend this bike. I would suggest buy the DK six pack if anything. Hope I could help. I ride,work on bikes. |
