Im 13 and im getting kind of tired of trails with a bmx whats the best all terrain bike for under 250? |
I skid out every time i use the brake..whenever i want to pick up some speed..my frame shakes..I know the only thing for this price that will be decent is a hardtail without discs..but does anyone know a good model? and where to get it? theres not really much you can get from a shop/store for under 250. I'd recommend your local craigslist. Sure, the bikes there will be used for the most part, but you can find some great deals. I got my current bike at craigslist. Not to brag, but its got some pretty sweet parts. (hydaulic disks, Deore XL, etc..) I paid 280... A few days before that someone had a Norco DH bike posted for 400.. I'd recommend that you check it often, and good deals WILL pop up. that's easy...buy old school- when quality mattered...it's easy, and more often than not so much cheaper than new school...i ride all 80's bikes, hard...and you can find them cheap, unless you want hutch, phaze one's or t/a's...but old school means you can ride pink, pastel, chrome etc...and who gives a $#!+ The GT Aggressor might fit the bill. Otherwise, get a paper delivery route and earn another $50 for a Specialized Hardrock XC for $300. |
