I weight 280 pounds and I want a BMX. Will "Diamondback Sherman" with 36H wheels withstand my weight?

I am eager to get my first BMX bike, but since I have overweight, I am afraid that bike can break. For that reason, I put aside enough money for better that beginners bike. Now I can afford Diamondback Sherman, because it is the best bike I can get in my country. E-shopping would be too expensive for me. Sherman is a great bike (I think), but it has 36h wheels (both - front and rear), but with very good rims (rear - triple wall alex, front - double wall alex). Are these wheels suitable for my weight?

As a former BMX racer whose legs were able to bend quick-release Redline cranks out of the gates, I will tell you if you are planning to race or freestyle, learn to jump and land correctly to distribute your weight properly..I've only destroyed three frames in my life by riding them (one was intentional), and maybe a good DIY project for you would be to buy a truing stand and a bicycle repair book-I still use mine today and I once did halfpipe freestyle at 298.5 lbs.

Just ride like your life depends on it-and enjoy the freedom!
No offense, I used to be overweight, but if you have to worry that you are so fat you might break a bike, maybe it's time to do something about it.
Bikes are amazing, a tire can hold 700 pounds of pressure on it. Most people don't know these facts anymore. That bike can hold you. I weigh about that and use an m80 Raleigh. that is aluminum and it hold me fine with shocks.
Hey, I ride a 28 hole 26" rim on my mountain bike, the only thing that gets me are curb checks. A wheel will hold you up to the abuse you put it through. I weigh 230 lbs and am 6' 5", and those hold up to a lot of abuse. Hope that guides you. And I would suggest cheap frame, strong wheel, and you might want to get some solid crank arms. And avoid quick release axles, those can bend. I've seen them all go.
yeah thatll work if u just dont case nuthin and learn how to land at least sorta softly and it depends if you ride like street or dirt if you ride dirt just be sure to land with your nose down on the landing.and if i were you id like matybe customize some wheels like some oddyssey duralectra or hazrd lites, cuz those are pretty tough.but anyways good luck with your bike thing
