BMX (what should i do)? |
i got a hoffman rythm18 bmx bike in like april its cool and all but i sort of quit in like 2 weeks because its like impossible and i can bearly lift the f*ckin thing when i try to manual. its not like im impatient or anything i just cant even picture myself doing sh*t so idk. im only 12 and my friend told me i should wait till im older and my muscles devolop and sh*t. so maybe i'll do that or i'll just quit or keep at it im not sure. What should i do? (you can suggest other stuff besides whats up there) You are only 12, so you are just a little guy yet. Get yourself an aluminium bike, it will be much lighter. You could try a lighter front wheel and fork, gooseneck, handlebar set-up. Keep your Hoffman and in 2 years I reckon it will be just the right size for you then. Keep practising. That is the only way to get better. Practice your other skills in the meantime. Like your jumps and balancing. Look on some flatland sites and maybe you are a genius at doing those tricks. You never know. Good luck with it Buddy. :D yea i just started working on cars and i cant really put a complete engine back together......should i quit? no....im gonna force myself to learn how cause i wanna do it do you wanna ride your bike or sit on your porch and watch it? Wrong bike. Didn't shop around enough. You need a bike that is light and you should try it before you buy it. That is one reason. No don't quit, just try riding a frineds bike and see if you are any better. You prob will be, then after that you can worry about gettin a new/different bike. |
