Ok I need to know what bike I should get based on the inch? 16, 18 inch? I am 5'5-5'6 and my bdays november 13

You should buy a 20in if you get any smaller you will be to big. As for frame size you should pick a pro frame size which usually is a 20-20.5in top tube. It will take you awhile to grow to the point of needing an xl frame.

I would get the16" cause it's easyer to do tricks on a bike that fits ur height, then one too big.
Is there any way you can get to a bike shop and try some different sized frames? That's really the best way to find out. The differences can be pretty subtle, so one of the better ways to start is to compare the extremes, meaning first ride a 16" then jump up to a 20" and back down again. You'll want to see what feels the most comfortable, and it varies for everybody. A while ago my partner and I bought some hybrid bikes. We're almost exactly the same height, and the bikes were from the same manufacturer. He liked the feel and handling of a smaller frame (a 20") whereas I liked how a larger frame (a 25") rode. So the best thing to do is get to a bike shop and test them out.
At that size and the fact that you are growing you should be able to get into a 20" bike. 20" though is not refering to the frame size but the tire size. The 16" and 18" bikes though many look like a BMX bike they are not. It's just the frames look similar because of the size of the bikes. There are companies out there that make true BMX bikes for 16" and 18" wheels (Haro is one of them) but most do not. The BMX bikes will be built sturdier and will take a lot more abuse than a normal kids bike.

Now not all BMX bikes are made the same each manufacturer has different lengths on the top tubes for different reaches. The best thing to do is go to your local bike shop and try out some bikes to see how they feel.
