Flatland bike? |
is there a difference between bmx and flatland bikes? im getting a bike and i might want to try out learning like flatland tricks. is there something i should be looking for in the bike? well if you're just beginning then some quick things to go by are that a flatland bike will have front and rear brakes, whereas a regular bmx bike might only have rear. Also, it should have 4 pegs. I'm not an expert, but I also know that the frame will be bent differently underneath to enable to perform more tricks if ur like 14 or above, i would recommend a mountain bike. bmx bike is harder to ride since it's a fixed gears, and also if there r not skate parks or verts aroun ur neighbour hood, there're no point of buying it. and about the difference between bmx and flatland bikes. bmx is for racing, they only have a rear brake, dirt-ready tires and a really light frame. flatland bikes r for doing tricks on concrete land or floors such as the floor in a basketball court. if u really want a flatland bike, go for 2 pairs of pegs, light frame, front and read brakes, full-cro or better, rotor. that's about it best of luck felix |
