BMX RACINg? |
I AM 12 YEARS OLD. I LOVE RIDING MY BIKE. I WANT TO GET INTO BMX RACING. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO JOIN. IF YOU COULD TELL ME ID APPRECIATE IT.THANKS Hey Dan, There is an organization called American Bicycle Association and their web site has a wealth of info on what you need to get started (ie: gear, bike specs, membership, etc..) as well as locating a track near you. Visit www.ababmx.com Get your parents and browse through and you will find all the information needed to get you started. I am a firm believer of "practice makes perfect", so when you do get up and running (or should I say riding) ride the track as much as possible, check to see if your track has clinics available, talk to some of the older kids at the track, ask them for some pointers.
