Selling things on the Internet off eBay? |
I have someone who wants to buy an old BMX bike from me. But I've only sold 2 things on eBay, and like having the eBay guarantee that protects both seller, and buyer. How would I go about selling directly to a buyer? Naturally I want to get my money, but I would also want the buyer to get the bike, and be happy with it. I take my personal integrity very seriously, but don't want to ship a bike, and then not get payed. Does anyone know of a way of sell on line, that would protect both the seller, and buyer? get the money first, then ship the bike go to a ebay class That is what paypal is all about. Best thing would be to ask for paypay and checks. Also state that when the check clears that you will ship the item immediately. you get paid THEN ship the bike selling on eBay is the way to protect yourself and the buyer make sure you sign up for paypal and state paypal as a form of payment if they send a personal check , you wait to ship bike after it clears |
