What length of chain should i use if i go to a 25t sprocket for my bmx bike

i really want to change my sprocket because i need it for the jumping i do.

go to your local bike shop pick what sprocket you like than ask them will they pput it on your bike and take your bike to them and they will do it for you trust me get them to do it because it is very difficult to change sprockets speaking from experience.

chains come in really long sizes, your supposed to get a chain breaker and cut it to your desired length. If you dont have a chainbreaker (about 15 bucks) just pass by your lbs and ask if they can install a new chain and sprocket for you.

Chains are sold a bit too long for most bikes. The idea is that you fit it and use a chain break to remove the extra links and set the pins to connect the chain.

You need it long enough to go around both the front and rear cogs and then join it together
